What is a business? A business (also known as a company, enterprise, and firm) is a legally recognized organization designed to provide goods or services, or both, to consumers, businesses and governmental entities.[1] Businesses are predominant in capitalist economies. Most businesses are privately owned. A business is typically formed to earn profit that will increase the wealth of its owners and grow the business itself. The owners and operators of a business have as one of their main objectives the receipt or generation of a financial return in exchange for work and acceptance of risk. Notable exceptions include cooperative enterprises and state-owned enterprises. Businesses can also be formed not-for-profit or be state-owned.
The etymology of "business" relates to the state of being busy either as an individual or society as a whole, doing commercially viable and profitable work. The term "business" has at least three usages, depending on the scope — the singular usage (above) to mean a particular company or corporation, the generalized usage to refer to a particular market sector, such as "the music business" and compound forms such as agribusiness, or the broadest meaning to include all activity by the community of suppliers of goods and services. However, the exact definition of business, like much else in the philosophy of business, is a matter of debate and complexity of meanings.
What is a techno business? A techno business is the combined form of technology and business, simply means that you engage into a business where at the same time, you apply the use of technology as an advantage.
There are so many business nowadays, and it's not easy to survived in the world of business. So as a technopreneur, we/I should think ways in order to surpass this. Techno business is where business and technology meets.
If I were given a chance to have my own business, I would go for a selling site. An example of a selling site is "http://www.pojo.com" or http://www.ideal808.com" . I would go for a website that sells what caught up my interest. Those sites sells products such as trading card game merchandise. I would go for a business where I engaged in a online business and can also be called as a worldwide business because anybody in this world can easily access and buy products from me. I would also go for a business where my interest fits well because while I'm doing this business, at the same time, I would enjoy from doing it. We can never say that this business would suck because in U.S. and Japan, and all other countries, these trading card games really sells high price and many big Business Tycoons from U.S. engaged in playing these card games. In fact, in U.S., the trading card game called "Magic The Gathering" is well known over there. I have a research that in Manila, trading card games and anime stuffs are top sellers in their place. And with this kind of business, that is so broad, that means that if my business would be well-advertised, there's a big chance that many people can buy from my online shop. In short, my business would succeed.
We all know that there are so many people that are fanatics of Anime stuff. By that, we can conclude that there are so many people dying to have anime merchandise. This business is so broad that you can add many stuffs in this online shopping store. For example, if I'd add Gundam merchandise here, as of my research, there so many gundam addicts out there and collecting Gundam stuffs is not a "so so" . The prices are mostly 3-4 digits.
There are so many opportunities with these kind of business.
The nature of this business can be divided into many parts:
Advertising:
In this business, you should make a well-advertised process so that you're shop would really be well-known for almost all of the target place. You should step by step do this, and you should target one place at a time so that you will not be confused.
The success of your business depends on how well you advertised it.
Online Shop:
Online shop is where you sell merchandise to people who prefer online web searching. In fact, almost 78% of the population in the world are engaged through surfing the world wide web.
With these, you can take advantage of the power of the world wide web and advertise your online shop to people. You can easily advertise through social networking sites like (E.g. "facebook" and "twitter"). You can actually save more with this kind of advertising.
Direct Selling:
You can also direct sell to those people who are near your place. With that, you can have many options on how to earn money.
Pyramid:
I call this process as a pyramid, where you sell your products to those little shops in malls for them to also sell the merchandise that they bought from me. And with that, I can also advertise my products to other people who buys from their shop.
My target in this kind of business is those people who share the same interest from me. And there are so many people who are like me that is fun of anime and manga stuffs. Trading Card Game is very broad and there are so many BIG mans and kids out there who are addicted with it.zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
